Description of 1984 BMW 3-Series |
This is an extremely rare 1984 BMW E30 323is EURO. If you are searching for an E30, his is the one to have. With a 5spd close ratio manual transmission, limited slip differential, unroof delete, anual steering, anual windows and sport seats, nd a high compression 2.3 liter inline six, t is the closest thing to an E30 M3 at a fraction of the price. This is a European "Grey Market" car and it has the all important BAR sticker on the door, aking it legal in the state of California (passes smog with flying colors). Being a EURO model also means, hat it has these really clean looking EURO bumpers, hen all of the early US cars received big "Diving Board" bumpers. If you are looking for the coolest E30 that will stick out in a crowd...this is the car for you. The car starts every time and runs and drives great. The shifter is nice and smooth and it's a pleasure to row through the gears. The car tracks straight, s very smooth at highway speeds and handles well. The car was re-painted at some point in time, n the original shade of 'Lapis Blau'. The paint is not great and some parts are faded as seen in the pictures, ut it is a very presentable looking car. There are some dents and scratches, ut the car is fairly straight and it shows well.. The front right fender has a few larger dents. There is evidence of body repair on the passenger rear quarter panel, here you can see a couple cracks in the paint/bondo and some surface rust. There is a small rust spot in the passenger rear corner, nder the bumper and in the battery tray, s seen in the pictures. The interior is very clean and looks really nice. There is some some wear on the driver's seat, few small dash cracks, nd the instrument cluster has a couple cracks, ut overall it's a really nice interior. The Good:-Runs and drives great!-Rare EURO model (High Compression Motor, uro Bumpers)-California BAR Sticker (Passes Smog, nd registered in California)-265/5 Dogleg 5spd close ratio manual transmission with a limited slip differential ($2,500 value)-Sunroof delete "Slicktop"-Manual steering-Alpina replica wheels-Sport Seats The Bad:-Wipers Work Intermittently-A few rust spots-10 footer paint job-Temp gauge in dash doesn't work (hasauxiliarytemp gauge) |
