Description of 1981 BMW 6-Series

1981 Euro BMW 635CSI 5 Speed manual transmission. Low mileage 88K. Excellent interior and body. Runs and drives very nicely. Paint is not original color. Resprayed Zinoberrot by previous owner.
I tend to be fairly hard on how I rate condition of cars so by please keep this in mind as I give details. This car is in more than presentable condition. I drive itoccasionallyon the weekends and take it to a car show now and then. It always gets compliments.
The paint was not a super high quality paint job. Better than a Maco job but its an older respray. There are a few scuffs and minor scratches. A couple pea size bubble spots on the driver side fender (the only bubble spot on the car). The drive door has a small 2 inch clear coat peal right by the hinge. From 5 feet away the paint looks great. It is only on closer inspection you can see the above mentionedimperfections.
The dash is crack free. The TEST panel on the left does not appear to be working. Tires have lots of tread but are starting to dry rot and will need to be replaced. I only have one key which is the valet key. It does not open the glove box and I am not sure what is in there. There are some original tools in the tool box but it is not complete. Original owners manual, first aid kit, tire jack, comfort pillow and a few other goodies. I do not have a much documentation to accompany the car other than what I have mentioned.
The transmission shifts smoothly and the clutch feels strong. No overheating issues or major leaks. The suspension feels a little tired. There is a very small whine that comes from the dash.
This car can be driven and enjoyed as is for many years. I just don't have time for it and would like for it to go to some who can enjoy and use it. It is a great car but absolutely not perfect as I have described.
