The option package chosen “835 Touristen-ausfuehrung” is a very special choice.
This means the owner was a BMW enthusiast and as such wished to pick up the vehicle, though intended for Canada, in Germany. The vehicle’s first few months were indeed spent in the Western area of Germany. The original owners manual and service records are in place and stamped from the dealership there.
The vehicle then travelled to its new and intended home of Victoria BC via the John Ladd BMW dealership. The owner’s manual still contains their business card, assurance of quality and service records for the vehicle. All of the maintenance records and receipts for this auto are organized in a binder so as to track the service and care performed to keep this car as intended.

The people prior to me and I have continued to ensure the best care and attention to detail is maintained. The interior was previously taken out and carefully stored by the third owner who had this car for 10 years. Upon purchase the grey interior (his preference) was removed and the original mint black leather interior was installed returning it to stock once more. As the interior was stored in his home for many years, the condition of the seats and door panels is “as new” for a car of this heritage.
As the auto landed from Germany direct to Victoria where it has been for 25 years, this is a rare example of a completely original and absolutely 100% rust free vehicle.
