Description of 1986 BMW 7-Series

Hard To Believe… Just traded locally from the second owners who have had the car since 1990. I liked the car so much I’ve driven it for the past month and here is a simply gorgeous relic from the past and this 735i must have been the nicest sedan off the line in ’86. This one looks terrific with the original paint still shining nicely. has an exceptional interior. and is sitting on nice upgraded BMW wheels. The 6-cylinder motor sounds great with lots of power. the transmission shifts perfectly. the brakes are strong and the suspension rides smooth. quiet. and straight and it's simply hard to believe it’s approaching its 30th birthday. The interior is a beauty with power and heated leather seats that work properly and considering you have to put your butt somewhere for all those miles. it sure is wonderfully kept. The front mats are immaculate. the carpets are clean with no wear marks. the headliner and trunk are spotless and there are no bad smells and was certainly never smoked in. The dash is in nice condition with only a couple small cracks on the top pad which is best-case-scenario for these cars and there are no warning lights illuminated. The fan switch is stuck on ‘off’ so the heat is red hot but only as you cruise along up to speed. The aftermarket radio you see in the pictures didn’t work so the original factory which came in the trunk is back in the hole. The odometer made it all the way to 295k miles then quit so that’s where it stands. The body of the car is wonderful looking and the original brown paint has great shine. The roof is faded but the trunk lid. hood. and sides all look great and the only minor dent is on the front left quarter behind the turn signal. The body looks very clean with a small rust bubble on the left rear fender arch and no other signs and clean for the year keeping in mind this is an unrestored car. I'm thoroughly impressed with its good looks. There is a thick stack of service records for the car and if you wanted to cruise around in retro-style getting lots of looks and thumbs-ups. this one is a nice daily driver and aren't too many in such good driving condition still on the road and will of course be sold with no reserve so thanks for looking and good luck with the auction. Regarding Liens None of our cars are sold with existing liens on them and all titles are in hand when the cars are sold. Administrative Fee We have sold over 5000 cars on eBay in the last six years and have never charged any fees. However. the cost of doing business recently has skyrocketed out of sight and we are forced at this time to ask for a nominal $75 fee on top of the price of the car sold and any motor vehicle fees. I truly apologize for this change in policy however the cost of doing business and the increasing number of no show bidders dictates this moderate administrative fee. “Prior to re-conditioning” We test drive our cars prior to offering them for sale on this auction and any faults are disclosed to the best of our ability. We do not run them through a service facility but rely on our experience to tell you what problems they may have. Our prices are generally way below the average retail values listed in the most popular pricing guides so our cars are not detailed or re-conditioned but sold in the same way they were purchased or traded. They are simply washed and put out for sale. You will not find the motors cleaned and you won’t find shiny protectorates such as “Armor-All” on them and the cars will be in their original traded condition. This allows you to buy the car for less money and me to do less work. If you are receptive to buying a car in this fashion. the savings are yours. Because we sell our cars all over the world and in every state. inspections are not guaranteed in any state as each state differs in their requirements so it is virtually impossible for us to guarantee inspection. Check engine lights and others will be mentioned if they are showing. We will not under any conditions guarantee the check engine lights or any dash warning lights and we do not do a diagnosis to see what it is because they can come on at any time for any number of reasons so these lights are not guaranteed if they come on for you.
