Description of 1992 BMW 3-Series

1992 BMW 325ic E30 convertible with Factory Hardtop painted body color. 6 Cylinder with automatic transmission. Car has all original VIN matched body panels which indicates NO accidents. Exterior shows minor door dings here and there and scratches from 25 years of road use. Right rear quarter panel was painted at some time during its life and the entire car was clear coated. Clear coat is starting to show signs of age. Interior sports a CRACK FREE dash, and professionally installed aftermarket stereo head unit with bluetooth. Original Interior is nice but starting show age, driver bolster is showing thin spots and small tears. Original back seat shows one seem splitting on bottom cushion. "NEW" Recently installed black convertible soft top.
Car sits on adjustable coil overs, and NEW 16x7 basketweave rims and tires, tires are about 90%, new OEM fuel pump, always serviced. EURO grill and bumper trim. AC blows COLD. All lights work, no weird codes being sent. Always passes California SMOG.
This is the only year for Laguna Green on an E30 convertible. I will assist your shipper to get the car loaded however, the buyer is responsible for all shipping and costs. Car is located in California 93901.
Reserve is set very low for a car of this magnitude. Please only bid if you intend to follow up with purchase. I prefer a $500 non-refundable Paypal deposit, and the balance to be paid with 5 days via certified bank check or cash in person. Clear Title. Once car sells, I will get the car CA smog. Wheels are 16x7 Konig RS Remembers with the screw on knock off center cap. Car has has always been serviced. I have a CARFAX report from about 2 years ago. The factory Hardtop or "winter top" has new mounting pins and the defroster works perfectly on the back window. Hardtop needs a headliner, I was going to install a tan suede leather headliner but never got around to it.

Car is a solid 8 out of 10 as far as cosmetics go, No rust, no dents, all original panels that fit perfectly. Mechanically this car is sound. reason is it was very well cared for over the years, regular services etc. I have another set of exterior aluminum trim that goes around the windows and interior that I was going to powder coat satin black that I will include with the sale. I also have several other parts like MAF, crankshaft positioning sensor, computer/DME, throttle sensor, etc. that will also go with the car. These cars are getting harder to find OEM original parts for so I started collecting them with the intention of only using OEM parts when needed.
So, with the car being mechanically perfect brings me to why I selling it. My original idea was to do a LS swap on it when the engine finally quit but it would be sinful to do that now since this car is still running perfectly. I'm an enthusiast who had a 1988 BMW 325i convertible back in 1990 and loved it, and ever since then have always has an E30 of some kind.
This would make a great starter for anyone wanting to entire the E30 world. Its fun, reliable, clean, and different. Over time dressing it up alittle more to fit your style, without the headaches.
