Description of 1989 BMW 3-Series 325i

1989 BMW 325i 4 door sedan California classic!!!Always a California car. original. unmolested condition. clear title in my name. Just passed California smog test!This car starts and runs very well considering it is 26 year old. Engine is smooth and powerful. automatic transmission upshifts and downshift smoothly. Cooling system runs perfect. car never reaches the 1/2 mark. Drivetrain. suspension. tires and brakes all are excellent. Don't let the mileage of 223. 71 scare you. for a 26 year old car. this mileage indicates actually that car has been maintained very well. I owned this car since July 2014 and I replaced battery. spark plugs (all plugs looked a perfect gray color without any signs of oil or gas buildup). all four shocks front and rear. and two engine coolant hoses. I just ran a Carfax report and this car is priced at $490 above retail and all previous owners have resided in California. Car passed smog on first attempt yesterday and it appears that the exhaust appears original. Mechanically. car is sound and runs very well. The only issues that I can find is that the AC does not cool (fan works very well)) and heater does not work. The only abnormal lights on the instrument cluster and check panel are the ABS light (regular brakes work perfect) and the check brake lights (not sure why. the brake lights light on properly). The OBC display screen is damaged (see picture). The interior cloth seats appear original and have small tears on driver's seat and right rear bench. Overall. cosmetically the exterior and interior are very presentable. The paint appears original and there is some fading visible on rear lid and very minor surface corrosion on the rear lid lip (see picture) and the only rust spot I can find on the car is on the rear trunk at base of the rear windshield - see picture. There is no significant rust I can find anywhere on this car not counting the very tiny dot brown spots scattered here and there. I drove this car from San Francisco area to Riverside when I purchased it without any problems. It has not given me any trouble since I've owned it. Carfax report is clean and clear and title is clear in my name. Car was just smogged and a valid pass certificate will be given to new owner. This car does not appear to have modified in any way and looks original. Based on the way it is running. I believe it has been maintained regularly and should make the new owner very happy!Car sold as is. where it is without warranty. New owner is responsible for arranging for pick up or shipping of vehicle. I am not a dealer and do not have a shipping company. I will do my best to assist your shipping company (e. g. will make car available for pick up etc if car shipped) and will pick you up from any local area airport if flying in and driving away. Car can be driven away home and I would personally drive car across country. No warranty is offered and if you choose to drive it (to Alaska or Miami) it will be at your risk. This car is 26 years old and although it is in great condition. do not expect it to look and drive like a new car. there will be signs of wear here and there and YES car was cleaned but. NO. I have not detailed the engine bay!!! It has dust and dirt but no visible rust and no leaks underneath the car!!!Please ask any questions or arrange to check the car out PRIOR TO BIDDING.
