In 1968 the 89mm (3.5in) bore of the 2.0L engine and the original 71mm (2.8in) stroke, which resulted in a displacement of 1,766ccI'm selling my 1968 BMW 1600. There was not a listing for the 1600 BMW.I got this car because I love european cars and I was born in 1968. This was a running car 5 years ago and now it needs a good restoration. I do auto body and paint, and this car was going to getmedia blast and paint back to it's original color White. This car was originally a White car and was painted red. There are a few things missing. The interior is missing door panels, and the back seats are missing. Theres some rust on the roof top, hood and other body panels, and the interior door metal is needing some welding, or new doors. I've seen a lot of BMW's before this one, and most are rust buckets. This is no perfect car but it has a lot of potential. What you see is what you get in the pictures below. If you have any questions, I'll do my best to answer them.
