Description of 1987 BMW M5 535i

BILL OF SALE ONLY. NO TITLE. The BMW experts have sent me many messages saying that this is a 535is with a European M88/3 M5 engine. It has a hotter Cam.... Higher Compression and has Factory Headers. It makes 286 Hp vs the 256hp made by the US M5 S38 engine.. Oil Pan is damaged. The rest of the engine looks intact..... I bought this project a while ago as I wanted to build a rat rod BMW out of it. This is a non running project. The previous owner jumped a curb and broke the oil pan and damaged the front end and body in many places. That was in 1997. He kept the car is storage for many years and it has been outside his building for the last 3 years. Looks like some kids broke out most of the glass. Interior is trashed as is the carpet. Surprisingly it is very solid and not completely rusted out. Look at the underside photos. I am not a BMW expert as I collect porsches. Please do your own research. This car will require a full restoration. A sticker in the door says 535i and a build date of 10/86. Who knows? This is a Project car or a parts car.
