This car was purchased new by my parents' in 1992 in Gibraltar. Thus the use was very gentle which is illustrated by the low mileage. It is a second car since my parents 'quit this mortal coil', my car is a toyota landcruiser so the BMW has been mothballed to some extent though my partner drives it occasionally and I think secretly prefers it to the grit of my machine! It has had regular servicing, though with the mouse invasion last winter the evidence is no more, and drives like a dream. There is one minor 'graze' on the passenger side rear wheel arch and one spot of rust on the drivers' side rear window. There are some minor scratches on the drivers' side door, I think key marks, otherwise the paintwork is in very good condition. The upholstery is dark grey brushed fabric and has stood the test of time admirably, there is one 'burn' on the drivers seat, parents being great smokers as their age demanded, otherwise there are no rips or breaks in the fabric. The inside of the driver and passenger doors are slightly damaged but easily repaired, dog problems at some stage.Overall this is a very comfortable, quiet car ideal for motor-way and about town drives. Its' classic lines are graceful and ageless. It is with a heavy heart that I am selling this vehicle, I have very fond memories of coming out to visit my parents and driving to the beach with my daughters as babes in arms, but I think it deserves a home that has use of it. The value over the coming years is set to rise so a buyer would be making a very sound investment. The work that needs to be carried out is minor and easily doable.
