Description of 1987 BMW 3-Series 325is

1987 BMW 325is 2-Door CoupeSold in San Mateo. CA. this car lived in California until 2005. when it made the trip up to the high desert of Central Oregon. 2. 5L Inline 6-Cylinder Engine Automatic Transmission (40k on rebuild. No receipts. but 2nd owner was a trans tech) BBS Basketweave Wheels (Centercaps missing) M-Tech Leather-wrapped Steering Wheel Sport Seats Rare Red Leather Interior Delphin Grey Metallic Paint Power Windows Power Sunroof Anti-Lock Brakes 4-wheel Disc Brakes AWESOME things about this car: You can drive it everyday. Very reliable! Body is extremely straight. no wrecks or crashes. And NO RUST. Motor runs well. but could probably use a tune-up. Transmission shifts perfectly Lower front control arms have been replaced Rare Red Interior Engine has just had it's oil and filter changed New Brake Pads all around. This is a 325is. which had a bunch of nice features over the regular 325i. Such as; sport seats. leather. m-tech steering wheel. 13-button on-board computer. BBS basketweave wheels. and stiffer suspension. BUMMERS: Paint is extremely oxidized and damaged by UV light. Dashboard does have a few cracks. Both front seats have some cracks and damage to the leather. Odometer does not work (stopped at 198k). but speedometer does work. Estimated current mileage is 220. 00. Glovebox works. but handle is kinda broken. Muffler is rusty and noisy. Front lower valance has cracks. Check Engine Light is on. Original Radio is missing. Spare Parts: Comes with a replacement heater control panel (in slightly better shape than the original) And every coolant hose. Yes. each little tiny coolant hose. NEW BMW parts. 6 spark plugs. BMW. Bottom Line: This car is now 28 years old. It runs and drives pretty damn well for it's age. It always starts and always gets you where you need to be. However. it is a 28 year old piece of machinery in original. unrestored condition. I've been driving it all over town for months now. but I haven't tried any long-distance trips. Clean Oregon Title. in my name. I'm technically the 3rd owner. but I've only had it since October last year.
