Description of 1972 BMW 2002

For sale my 1972 BMW 2002Tii. Long time California car. riginally came from Bay Area. 5 spd trans which shifts very well. Sunroof which does not leak and operates smoothly. Engine has been rebuilt. I dont have any paperwork on this but when you pull the valve cover off everything looks new. Uses no oil and does not smoke on deceleration. My mechanic. who has worked on these cars since they were new and is a former Miller and Norburn mechanic. told me this is the best running 02 he has ever seen. Recent Bilsteins. tires have less than 5000 miles on them. Note the Campognello wheels. Undernesth is rust free. There is some surface rust on hood and left door. With a good paint job. this would be as nice a 02 as you will see. Original color is Atlantic Blue. has had a respray in a close. but not exact color. Still looks ok. just a few imperfections. Recaro seats from a 320. Original carpet in good shape. Very dependable.
