Over 20K wide body installation and restoration done in the 1990's, had been a weekend show car in the 1990's, then a daily driver and finally stored in a garage for many years. It just received new paint for $ 4,716, there were no dents and no rust work performed, it has never been one of those Rusty 2002's. There were several modification's done to the motor in the 1990's along with Weber conversion, recent exhaust system and suspension modification's. I have a copy of a BMW magazine showing this Bimmer pictured at a Concours Show in McLean Virginia in 1995. The tires are in like new condition, the original 4 speed manual transmission shifts smoothly. The interior is clean, perfect headliner, original carpet, original floor mats and back seat, aftermarket speakers have been added to the very nice original door panels, the only negative is wear on the driver's and passenger bucket seats which will require upholstery work or replace them with new Recaro seats like many 2002 owner's prefer. This Bimmer is looking for the next owner to take it to the next level. The second owner had this Bimmer for 33 years until he no longer was able to drive a manual transmission. All the paper work was lost during a divorce for the wide body installation and restoration. I do have recent service history, owner's manua, original tool kit and jack. All the gauges work. I have owned several 2002's over the last 35 years, this one being the cleanest of all. The gauge cluster was replaced several years ago, so the mileage is True Miles Unknown. I do have the original front bumper and aftermarket spoiler for the front, I just prefer the look without the front bumper.
