Description of 1976 BMW 2002 |
Hello, here is a very nice 1976 BMW 2002. These are becoming a very affordable collectors car with ease of parts and ease of fixing them up makes for a wonderful weekend driver. This car was purchased in 2016 from Southern California and was shipped up to Washington state. Where my son and I fixed it up. It was for him but he has since moved to back to Southern California for work and doesn't have time for the car or the space. Since purchasing the car the following items were done, Paint in Spring of 2017- color is Anthracite Gray, Valves were adjusted in summer of 2016, replaced brake caliper in 2016, re-cored the radiator in summer of 2017, replaced battery spring of 2017, replaced starter fall of 2017, new front seats in 2017 purchased some frames and then installed new padding and vinyl and replaced the wing window mechanism on the drivers door so that the wing window now works properly. The color we believe to be original to the car, and is a very nice metallic. Drives really well, has been lowered but looks great and has the BMW mini wheels on it. This is a rust free California car, has not been abused and looks great. The new seats really helped a lot in the look of the car. Has the jack, and the spare wheel as well, pretty rare in these little cars. It has the BMW 5 speed conversion, along with the Webber Carb conversion. Shifts great and has an easy clutch to operate. This is a non A/C car. Odometer shows 153,840 on it. Have some extra parts as well, tail lights blinkers etc. |
