1989 Bmw 325is

This clean original example is up for sale, this time with much regret but it does not get driven so often and spend most of the time under cover in climate controlled garage, since my ownership I have only put less than 2500 miles, I have owned this car for 3 years and spent 3 years before just looking at this color combination.

Fully resprayed in Delphin Metallic color less than a year ago, new interior, new suspension, new brakes, wheel bearing and hubs, guibo, completely rebuilt cylinder head, new belts, injectors, tires, refinished wheels, all new engine seals and gaskets.

Drivetrain:

Engine has been completely overhauled and had all the major services done, which includes, new water pump, new radiator, thermostat and housing, new silicon hoses; Gates timing belt and tensioner, all new accessory belts, new 17 pounds injectors, with new fuel pump and new sending unit, all this VDO siemens OEM brand. New spark plugs and spark plugs wires.

Cylinder head was removed and sent to machine shop for inspection and cleaning, came back perfectly clean and performed a 3 angle valve job and the needed valve lapping, new valve springs and seats were also installed along with new Bimmerheads rocker arms and their complete gasket and seals kit Goetze brand. Valve adjustment done after, amazingly smooth.

Brand new motor mounts, they’re semi poly mounts, engine was cleaned underneath and a new oil pan gasket was installed. Engine oil pan is protected with a Red 46 belly pan or skid plate.

The transmission fluid was replaced and toped with redline MTL fluid and anew selector shaft seal was installed. Shifter has been absolutely rebuilt and feels amazing, tight and crispy. No weird noises.

Clutch and brakes system was flushed and new fluid added, system bled properly.

Rebuilt half cv axles locally in Vancouver Wa, 500.00 worth of work, new guibo and exhaust seals, gaskets and rings installed with new rubber mounts, fairly new O2 sensor.

All new power steering hoses and reservoir, system flushed and new fluid added. All new filters were also included.

Suspension & Brakes:

Brand new Bilstein sport struts and rear shocks, new upper strut mounts, new cartridges, new FAG wheels hub bearings in front and new SKF wheels bearing in the rear with all new hardware. New brakes installed right after, new rotors all 4 corners with new pads and sensors.

Tie rod ends outer has been replaced with lemforder units and ball joints has been pressed in, bushings were replaced prior.

Car came with H&R super sport coil springs and it make it look with the perfect stance.

Interior:

Completely reconditioned front sport seats in OEM perforated fabric, brand new headliner with OEM fabric as well, dash was replaced with a perfect unit, every single electronic works on this car as it should, cruise control, A/C and heating, windows and locks works with all original keys including the glovebox, and master trunk lock.

Pop out quarter windows with new seals installed.

In reality this car has been a labor of love, time and money, if you want to own 1 of the most cleanest delphin grey this is your chance to buy the most sought after color 1989 true “is”, this model is the last year which ellipsoids were included and last year for non air bag car. Drive it ANYWHERE or drive it home, has a red 46 oil sump armor for a peace of mind and brand new matching spare tire with all the tools.
