Description of 1979 BMW 6-Series Black Leather

VERY RARE 1979 BMW 635 European model. 5 Speed Dogleg!
116,000 miles! Imported in 1980 and lived in Arizona until 2008
BMW 635csi 1979 EURO Import. 116k miles ONLY since NEW!!!(shows 128k on title but clean Carfax)

I have a nice original example been stored last 20 years. I replaced Coil and HT cables with new
ones from Summit racing. Replaced Fuel injectors with Bosch reconditioned units and new hoses.
Car does not run due to old fuel, will need to be drained and replaced with new fuel.
NO RUST. NO RUST. NO RUST!!!. Car was brought in from Arizona in 2008 after spending 10 years in dry storage warehouse.
I bought the car from a man in Indiana in 2009 and have since had it in storage/ garage.
Rear seats almost like new. Front seats have a few cracks but repairable. Dash is good.
Engine bay is SO CLEAN you can almost eat of it!
Rare 3.5L M90 Engine
Rare DOGLEG 5 speed manual gearbox.
Engine has been turned regularly to keep it lubed up. Last run in 2016.
Car has a couple little dings (can be popped out). NO RUST AT ALL!I removed the heater knobs/ controls to try and get the heater working. No missing parts.Also removed part of left kick panel near pedals to access wiring, again all parts are there.
For those of who who don't know, this was one of the fastest cars on the road and way ahead of it's time in 1979.
This car has the 215 hp, 229 lb/ft, M90 Inline 6. For perspective, Corvettes at the time only got 190 hp out of a V8 nearly twice the size.
This engine shares the same bottom end as the engine in the BMW M1 Supercar from the same time period.
The difference is the M90 in this car has a M30 head on it de-tuning it from it's supercar cousin.
That said, it still has 21 more horsepower and 14 more foot pounds of torque than the M30B32 engine that came in the US spec E24s at the time.
Best of all, the euro spec version of the E24 doesn't have the hideous DOT mandated bumpers of the 80's.
Get this car running and a nice Respray and it'll be worth over $10k EASY!
This car could easily be made into a show car or daily/ weekend driver.
I have clean Title in my name ready for transfer.
