Description of 1967 BMW Other |
A true BMW "Neue Klasse" sedan. this 1967 2000 tilux is a true survivor. This is an European model. with the square headlights. and is offered for sale in its current condition. The car starts and runs fine. but requires a light restoration to make it show quality. Exterior paint is not very old. but is a typical home garage job. with not very good surface preparation done before paint. There is a little surface rust in the spare tire wheel well. and the drivers side floor board has rust. That is the extent of rust I can locate in the car. everywhere else seems straight and solid. Front left fender has been dented. no damage to turn signal. Front passenger door has the window mechanism out of the car. see pictures for parts that comes with the car. Top part of dashboard is in poor condition. and needs restoration. An aftermarket electric fuel pump has been added by the fuel tank. Seats are in great condition. with no rips or tears. and looks like they have been recently redone. Headliner is OK. There is a pair of double Weber carburetors installed. which (by my information) is not the original carburetors. Valve cover has been painted red. There is an issue with the shift linkage. the transmission works fine in all gears. clutch is in good condition. but I feel that there is to much slack in the shifter linkage. If there is any specific portion of the car you would like more pictures or video of. feel free to ask. and I will try my best to get this done within 24 hours.
