Description of 1988 BMW 325i Convertible

Here is an excellent example of an extremely well maintained, low mileage BMW 325i convertible with an incredible service record included with the sale. It has just under 68,000 original miles. The original paint is very good to excellent and only the hood has been repainted. All the badges are new as well.The interior is excellent with original leather seats; no rips or tears, the rear seat seams are completely in tact with all the character of a 30 year old vehicle. I have upgraded the floor mats front and rear with expensive Luxor mats. It still has the original radio as well. The original automatic transmission has been converted to manual($2,600) along with a new clutch and pressure plate.(makes a huge difference in drive ability and value) I have also added all new shocks ($650)and a very expensive Magnaflow stainless steel muffler ($850). Since I've owned the vehicle I have had the timing belt changed and the water pump checked along with a complete AC service (works perfectly and blows very cold)... All new tires as well and NO leaks of any kind. The top and rear window are excellent also though it takes a little horsing to get up and down.There are plenty of raggedy, high mileage 325's still out there but the well maintained low mileage examples are few and far between and will bring top dollar over the next few years.Two things: the drivers side bottom does not heat and there is a tear in the lining of the trunk near the spare tire.
