BMW had a very limited production M1 coupe that was produced to showcase what the company was capable of engineering and putting on the road to achieve its performance class. In 1987 BMW upgraded the 635csi and offered a M6 version that not only delivered more horsepower but had a stellar setup with extra body moldings, M badging, front and rear spoiler, color coded side mirrors, BBS style wheels, larger front brakes and a lower stance. GR Auto Gallery is... excited to bring this car to market for only the 2nd time in its existence since being sold new on December 10th 1988 out of John Shumate BMW in Pasco Washington. The original owner Mr. James Alex Jr. enjoyed this car for many years and kept track of his receipts and service records till selling the car to the 2nd owner in 2002 in Gilbert Arizona where it was enjoyed, well taken care of and documented till the 3rd owner purchased in 2012 and maintained and drove sparingly in Puyallup Washington. This car is very apparent it was cared for properly and when service or maintenance was needed it was done right and by a professional. Vehicle remains in stock condition minus the aftermarket stereo. There is a receipt to install a DINAN chip in 2001 by Eurosport, not exactly sure if that is still evident. In the past 5k miles there has been well over $8k in service records for some cosmetic items, but also brake work, valve covers, starter, battery, struts, fresh fluids, timing cover gasket, carpet kit and window regulator. This car is pristine in many ways and has a great stance with beautiful lines. The car does come with larger BBS style wheels on the car but the originals come with the car along with a large file of receipts, documentation, owners manuals, service log, shop manual and clean CarFax. Original MSRP was $59,610 and there were only 1,677 of these brought to the North America market and a small fraction still on the road in good condition. This vehicle drives great and is sure to put a smile on your face.
