Description of 1989 BMW 3-Series

DESCRIPTIONFor sale is a 1989 BMW 325i automatic with 184. 00 miles with a clean and clear title. Excellent example of this year and model. It is in great shape for a nearly 26 year old car. showing little wear and tear. Please contact me with any questions prior to bidding. Serious bidders only please!DETAILSENGINE2. 5 liter 6 cylinder engine runs very well. Starts right up and runs smoothly. I have driven this BMW up to 85MPH on the freeway and drives very smoothly on the road. No oil leaks. Does not burn oil. Oil level stays steady. Strong power from this motor. I've had several of these E30 and I have to say it is a great running motor. Clean coolant and all fluids are up to level. I use this car daily and I would not hesitate to drive this car long distances. TRANSMISSION4 speed automatic transmission. no grinding or slipping. It shifts very well with no issues. Very clean transmission fluid. INTERIORAll original factory black leatherette interior in good condition. carpets clean and not soiled. I installed the sports seats in the same black leatherette material as the rear seats. The fronts seats do have some cracks in the leatherette. (see photo below). I also installed a set of rear headrests. The dash has no cracks on it. Headliner in good condition. PAINT AND BODYBody is in great shape with the Lachssibler metallic paint in beautiful condition. very glossy. No major dents. Does have a small ding on drivers side front fender. A hood ding on front drivers side. but above average condition of paint and body for age of BMW. I had to replace the original sunroof because of rust bubbles in it. I replaced it with a factory painted black sunroof lid. It has the effect of having a moonroof. There is a little rust bubble next to the sunroof area. (See photo below). Otherwise no rust any where else. WHEELS AND TIRESTires are 195/65/14 in size. About 50% tread left on front tires and about only 40% left in rear. Clean factory bottle cap style wheels still in great shape. ELECTRICAL AND ACCESSORIESAll gauges and warning lights are working correctly. The odometer is no longer working. Not sure how long it has stopped working. Power mirrors work correctly. In dash CD player works well. It has power windows that work great. A/C blows nice and cold! The cruise control works also. The sunroof has a manual crank that works correctly. EXHAUSTOriginal factory exhaust system that is in great shape. No rust or leaks. SUSPENSION AND BRAKESBrakes are 50% upfront and brand new 100% in rear with new rotors and pads. Just replaced the passenger side rear wheel bearing. Suspension is tight and rides great. It does have a squeaky sound in front when you go over some speed bumps. but otherwise has a solid feel. Drives smoothly on roads and has a very comfortable ride. It has a clean title.
