Description of 1988 BMW M3 |
This 1988 BMW,M3, with a low mileage of 49,796, is a collectible automobile. Thecar was purchased at Beverly Hills Zipper BMW in Beverly Hills,California, and being sold by the original owner. It has beengarage kept with no accidents, never raced, and still smells likenew. The value of this car will rise in the future due to theoriginal limited production and its lack of availability on market. The particular caris difficult to find, especially clean, unmodified, and like newfrom the original owner. Only 5,000 M3’s (E30) sold to the publicin North America in 1988. BMW had to produce those 5,000 to meetrules and regulations to qualify for a specific racing class inwhich Mercedes-Benz 190 E was the successful front runner. Soonafter, the M3’s (E30) absolutely dominated Mercedes and everyproduced in automobile racing history in this class. Afterthe huge sales andsuccess of the M3(E30),every other manufacturerwanted a piece of the pie. One by one, each manufacturer triedmaking a street racing car that would compete with theM3 (E30). All of them fell short,as the M3 wasthe bar. This continued for multiple generations of theM3. Nothing could compare to the performance, handling, braking, buildquality, reliability, and driver feel. The car hasrecently passed the California Smog Test. Recently installed werefour (4) brand new tires, anew batteryand a fuelpump by a major autoservice, to bring it from“garage-kept†to a running condition.
