Up for sale is an excellent example of atrueBMW classic E30. Only about 120k miles (seebelow). Immaculate condition. Runs and drives great. Startsup every time. Strongclutch. Transmission solidly shifts into each gear. Fun todrive and has a great exhaust note. Would keep it but just do not have the room. It's mywife's car and she is really sad to see it go. Time tomove on and sell it to someonethat willlove and drive her. This car will only keep appreciating in value. Back story: Purchased new in 1989 in Southern California by a doctor and it wasmaintained by the same dealership.He put 103k miles on it and sold it to a BMW mechanic in 2008.The mechanics wife drove it just under 5k miles until my wife purchased it in late 2009.Under her almost 11 year ownership she drove it only 8,800 miles. The speedometer/odometer stopped working at 116k in November 2012, which is a typical problem on this and other BMW models of the same age.Tach, fuel and temp gauges all work. All dash lights work except left turn indicator.It was a daily driver up until the end of 2012.It has only been driven periodically since and impeccably maintained the entire time by me.I take pride in all cars under my ownership and keep them in excellent running condition. The body,paint and interior are nearly perfect for a 30 year old car. The new floor mats are not hiding any wear under them, justcleancarpet.It has never been in an accident, always garaged and has never left So Cal. No rust at all.Tires are like new.This BMW is super clean and does not drive orfeel like a 30 year old car. Newconvertible top and new leatherreupholstered interior have barely seen the light of day. There are none other of thismodel on eBay, cars.com,autotrader.com, or even the local craigslist thateven come close to theshapeandcondition of this car, and that's if you can even find one. I previously have sold two of my Mercedes (1989 560SL and 1972 280SE) on eBay and have also gotten ripped off buying a used Mercedes wagon, so I know what it is like to be misled on here. It does need to get the speedometer fixed if you care and there are two very small cracks in the dashboard (see pic) and a little plastic color fading here and there from many years of top down driving enjoyment. For a car that is approaching 31 years old, that's pretty damn good. Other than that, this is truly a great car and seriously turns heads wherever she goes. I have shipped the two Mercedes I sold and have no problem helping you ship this BMW to a new home if you are out of state. The prices vary on shipping.
