Description of 1991 BMW 8-Series 850i

Beautiful 1991 BMW 850i coupe. This sleek, long nose coupe has 149,000 miles, averaging just over 5k miles per year. It is in very good overall condition and has been enjoyed by the current owner for 8 months, who is now selling it to build a new house.Recent work completed includes the following:New Water PumpNew AC compressor with speed sensor removed (AC module bypassed)Headlights completely rebuiltNew ThermostatNew drivebeltsAnti theft modules repaired and upgradedFuel lines upgraded to new braided linesNew Grills to replace the cracked onesNew rear drive tiresNew batteries (2) in trunkNew radiatorNew front control armsNew windshieldNew wipersNew left front inner fender linerNew air filters and hosesNew alignment just completedNew transmission fluidNew fuel filterNewly repainted lower front bumper fascia - car has no scratches or dings in preparation for sale
Car also features:Aftermarket 850 CSI style front and rear bumpersMK exhaust sounds sinisterOpti ceramic coated paintBluetooth enabled head unitBattery tender in the trunk6CD changer ( im not sure if it works)

The car is not a show vehicle but a nice weeked cruiser. I have a multi point inspection completed and all repairs have recently been completed, with all receipts available, except for the following items. The onboard computer is repaired but the screen isn't- it is pixelated and not readable at this time. There is a small leak in the steering gearbox. I have a photo available in the multi inspection report which will be provided in its entirety to any interested bidders. At the time the shop didn't recommend repairing it but the estimated cost was $895. At low speeds in cold weather there is a transient grind that occurs with tight cornering. They didn't feel it was a big enough leak to fix at this time.(This is not to be confused with the tire rub that also occurs at tight cornering. The car is lowered on HnR springs and the wheels are 18" on brand new Yokohama Advan Sport S+ tires in the rear, 275/35/18. The fronts are I move Gen 2 Ironman 235/40/18. I didn't want to go 35 in the front and compromise ride quality to minimize the tire rub with parking lot turns. )The horn doesn't work. This is a later model, smaller and sportier looking steering wheel. So I am not sure if it just wasn't hooked up.The clearcoat on the front left rim is rubbing off from the repair shop taking it through the car wash. Also the right front throwing star wheel is missing the “M” insert and someone recently took the valve stem cap.The interior a pillar lining was ripped some during the recent windshield replacement. The door jam rubber is intact but starting to tear in a few places. Expected for a 30 year old vehicle. All other outstanding service items and maintenance have been completed and the car is currently running amsoil. The car drives straight at all speeds with a new alignment which, along with the front control arms, corrected the small amount of wheel vibration. The car can be driven anywhere confidently.I am into the vehicle over $25k but will sell confidently with no reserve to the highest bidder.I have included a few professional photos to give some better resolution. Also photos of the inspection report are included.
This vehicle gets a huge amount of attention after folks hear the v12 rumble and see the paint on the "new" old car passing them. And it looks amazing with all the windows down since there is no B pillar.Best of luck, please contact me with questions, additional photos, start up videos, drive videos or anything else you need.
