NO RESERVE AUCTION
If you are near Frederick County Maryland 21754 and would like to see the car in-person, you can call or text me at 301-458-0454. More photos at: This is a pretty cool car and in remarkable condition for it's age. Starts easily, shifts smoothly. Not as fast as the 750iL (V12) version, but it's not slow and the M30 engine is considered much more reliable. No smoke from the exhaust and no fluid leaks. I've put close to a thousand miles on it with no problems other than the minor issues listed below. Interior is 8/10.Leather seats are a bit dry but in remarkable shape for their age –just one separated seam in the rear. No cracks on the dash, wood trim is all present with some minor cracks. Older (~2012) re-spray is showing it's age, but paint is still very presentable. Brake pads and rotors are in good condition, as are the hoses and belts. Original floor mats in OK condition are included in the sale, as are the owner's manual and all service records. Speaking of service records, this car has the most amazing service history of any car I've owned, with only 1 owner for the first 30 years of it's life. The BMW service book show the original owner's name* and dealer service stamps up through 72k miles, and then the records from independent BMW specialists start. Most of the service and repairs from 1998 through 2018 were done at European Service Center in Leesburg VA, and the receipts total over $70,000 - yes, $70,000! Talk about “spare no expense!†The last receipt (BMW of Sterling, January 2018 at 242,076 miles) was for $2,118.50 and included a new water pump, coolant hoses &clamps, and coolant level sensor. The AC compressor, condenser and hoses were replaced and the system converted to R134 in 2016. The list goes on, and on, and on... Problems:
Caveats: Terms of Sale: * In the Google Album photos of the service records I've blanked out the original owner's full name and address to protect his privacy. You can see all the documents in-person to verify the ownership history. |
