Description of 1974 BMW 2002 Touring

Rare Opportunity to own a great collectible car. Up For Sale and in Pristine Conditions a 1974 BMW 2002 Touring matching numbers car. Built exclusively for the European Market. Original and extremely well preserved interior. Original Sheet metal. Only one recent re-spray since new in it's original color Fjord Blue. Previously display at the "BMW. The Ultimate Driving Machine" exhibit at the Saratoga Automobile Museum. Winner of Best in class at the Misselwood Concours D'elegance. Recent Work;Interior console removed. cooling system drained. Installed new cooling system hoses and refit heater housing with new cowl seal. Old water hoses have been removed. castings and ends of cooling system cleaned. BMW coolant has been installed at the correct density. Heater housing has been cleaned inside and out. New blower motor has been installed. Door latch bushings replaced. Driver side strap replaced. rear hatch emblem replaced with period correct piece. New seat belts left and right for front seat have been installed as well as rear tonneau clips. Replaced plastic support bushings at muffler on the exhaust. Wheels have been balanced and the car has been aligned. New Blaupunkt Frankfurt Mono AM/FM radio. Excellent condition. well documented and sorted. (copy of original Dutch documents. USA title & Customs release form). We have more photos available that can be sent via email upon request.
