Description of 1974 BMW 3.0 CS Nicely Restored, Euro Bumpers

Vehicle Details

1974 BMW 3.0CS with Euro Bumper Conversion. Fully restored and re-built in 2008 by one of the top BMW E9 restoration shops in the country. Coupe King, located in the Los Angeles area, restored this vehicle and sold it to an owner also in the LA area who owned it until I purchased the vehicle and moved it to Texas approximately 5 years ago.

During the restoration, necessary prep and body work was completed and it was re-painted in Polaris Silver. The paint was done right and still looks beautiful today.

The Navy Blue Leather Interior is in like new condition. The wood trim is also outstanding. It has a Nardi steering wheel which matches the wood trim nicely. There is a modern style Blaupunkt Head Unit with Hertz Speakers and Coco floor mats.

The Engine is a completely rebuilt Euro CSi 3.0 M30 engine block with Dual Weber 32/36 carbs and Getrag 5-speed Transmission. It starts, runs and drives perfectly. It’s fast and really fun to drive.

The odometer shows 75719 miles. Actual total mileage is unknown but approximately 10K miles have been put on the car since it was restored.

It has a Euro Bumper Conversion, Shaved Marker Lights and Italian Turn Signal Lights.

When I purchased the vehicle, Coupe King did a complete AC System upgrade to their High Speed, High Efficiency AC Package. It blows cold and has been great in our Hot Texas Summers.

We also installed 16” Alpina Style Wheels with polished lips and Continental DWS Extreme Contact Tires. Which look great on this car. There has been very little use on the tires and they are in great condition and the wheels are like new.

Recent work includes rebuilding of the Steering Box, replacing of control arm and sway bar bushings. Complete Tune up, oil change and a New Battery.

BMW E9’s are a rare vehicle and good examples of these vehicles are becoming very hard to find.

This is a beautiful car that was restored properly by a top professional, needs nothing and is ready to drive, show and enjoy for many years to come.

Additional photos of the car and the build process are available.
