Description of 1987 BMW 6-Series- show original title

For sale is a 1987 BMW L6. essentially the 635CSI for 1987. It has an automatic transmission and inline 6 engine. It passed DC emissions testing about a year ago and is currently registered in DC as a historic motor vehicle. Overall. the car runs well - engine and transmission both strong. Steering and breaking are solid as well. The car has a new alternator (installed a few months ago). as well as fresh oil. transmission fluid and coolant. The catalytic converter and O2 sensor are only about 2 years old and the muffler 3 - latest emissions test was excellent. Most electronic components work. including the power seats and all power windows. Speedometer and tach are ok too. The car does need a bit of TLC. The front half on the interior is showing its age (check my other auctions for fresher interior pieces). The AC does not work. There is a slow battery drain that occurs over a period of weeks when left unattended (This is likely caused by the trip computer) as well as a very slow break booster leak. There are a few scratches and nicks. essentially what one would expect for a 27 year old car. but nothing major. There's a tiny bit of rust in the rear wheel wells. Odometer broken. mileage estimated at about 135. 00 miles. A $500 deposit is required via paypal within 48 hours of the auction end. Buyer responsible for vehicle pickup and delivery.
