You are bidding on a 1970 Buick GS 455convertible, ne ofless than 1200built. This is a numbers-matching drivetrain car, ith the exception of the rear end, hich is out of the car but is included in the sale. Currently the rear is an 8.5" from a1971 Cutlass with Auburn Pro Series Differential and Eaton 3:42 gears. Driver's door and quarter skin havebeen replaced, s has the core support. All other sheet metal assumed to be original. I have owned this car since November 1995 and performed a frame off restoration over a 7-year period.Engine was most recently rebuilt 6 years ago but was not put into operation until 2014. Car has just come back from paint, nd there are less than 100 miles on the engine. Correct date code and part numbers on carburetor, lternator and distributor. Original brake booster included in sale. I am currently awaiting delivery of a trunk mat, pare tire board, ir cleaner foam seals and some miscellaneous fasteners. This is a solid number 2 car (possibly a 1 1/2), ut it is not perfect. There are some flaws in the paint, nd the 8-track tape player that I added is temperamental.I have the original build sheet anda clear title.The car has been documented by the Sloan Museum. I have over $56,000 in receipts, opies of which will be provided with the car.
