1969 Buick GS Gran Sport

Here is a good restoration project for you ! This has a good frame, loor,trunk & with no holes. What I show in the pics, s what needs fixed. I have quarterpanel skins& were originally bought, 0 years ago. Maybe better, han what you can buy today ??? There is some rust around the rear wheelwells & lower passenger side front fender, s you can see in my pics. The driverside rear quarter, as a thin coat of bondo & must have had some minor damage& at one point in its life ?Stupid me,backed into it & put the bow, n the front bumper & could be straightened ! The last picture shows the front bumper & the bow !The back bumper, asa ding in the middle. But both have very decent chrome. Doors, re solid. I haven't messed with it, ut the passengerside door won't open & it did awhile back??? I bought this, ith the intension of restoring, y my friend & I. Well my friend & which was very good at body work, assed away a few years ago. So, his is just sitting here & I think its time to let someone else & that can do body work & or has the $$$ .... ??? I was told by the previous owner, hat this wasoriginallya California car &with 39,000 original miles! The Pa. titlestates, hat this has 39,000 miles ! This has a 1973 455 cubic inch motor, osi rearend, urbo 350 &shift kit. I have bought, ust about everything & to restore this vehicle. I have new 1969 correct reupholstered bucketseats, riginal backseat, ront & reardoorpanels, ear courtesy lights, illar covers, 6" armrests, ice padded dashpad, nbsp;wheelwell trim, eft & right door mirrors & lighted rear view mirror, echromed back bumper, 5" ralley wheels, loor shift column, alley steering wheel, onsole & shifter, ear defroster, ith switch & bezel, ower trunk release, ith release button, ront disc brake swap, ear sway bar & 1 1/4 front sway bar,quick ratio steering box, ll glass, xcept windshield& all this is in very good condition Also,new weather stripping, ew quarter window rubbers, ew under the hood stops, ew ignition switch & door cylinders, ith matching keys, ew window cranks, ew door lock buttons, ew bucketseat backs, ew bucketseat release buttons, ew GS emblems, tc. I have purchased a lot of option related items & that would have been special order, ack then.The only items & thatyou would have to buy, ould be carpet, eadliner, indshield & tires ! Everyone has a 1969 Chevelle / GTO / 442, ut you don't see many 1969 Buick GS's ! There's a lot of " BUICK "boys out there, ut you other guys ....stand out in the crowd & be different ??? The Buicks are, nbsp;FAST WITH CLASS & a Buick 455 cubic inch,hasthemosttorque ! ! ! This runs very well, hifts fine & the only thing I've done is, ut the Posi rearend in & is out of a 69 Chevelle & it seems fine.I painted the metal dash black & looks nice !I had it inspected & drove this occasionally, ut hasn't been inspectedfor a fewyears.
