Here we have for sale is a 1955 Buick Special Convertible. As I write this, here is not one of these for sale on ebay, or has there been one for quite some time. This is a rare collector car.
This Buick is one of only a handful made. 1955 Buick Special Red on Red with a black convertible top. 264 Nailhead V8 with 3 speed automatic.
This car is all original and complete with one repaint in its lifetime. It has had a new carpet put in it and the 2 bbl carb has been re-built. Besides that, t is unmolested.
Everything works in this car. The vehicle will start with the accelerator pedal as original. The body is very solid and the paint is very nice. Solid floors with no rust.
This car was in storage and belonged to an elderly couple for quite some time. It now runs and drives great - it would take very little more to make this a top notch show car.
New wide white wall tires, ew hydraulics in the convertible top.
Let me say again, his is a very rare car. If you're interested, ou know how rare they are.
Trunk and hood open and close like they should, oors open and shut like original - as they should! This car is original and unmolested!
A fully restored one of these sold at Barrett Jackson for $93,500 recently. That one was frame-off restored - this one is all original and complete!
A local Buick collector rated this car on the Hagerty scale as a 2 - valued between $40k - $60k. I have a fair reserve on this auction.
