Description of 1991 Buick Roadmaster

This is a very clean 1991 wood delete wagon Body extremely nice and virtually rust free. Paint has nice gloss with a couple chips here and there. Nice for a 25 year old car. Just a couple of small spots on hood where the paint is aged. Not noticeable unless right on top of it. Door jambs are beautiful as is the interior door weather stripping. Interior is very nice cloth. Seats have zero splits or tears, he cloth center arm rest has just a bit of wear on the edges where you'd rest your arm but no splits or tears. Dash has zero cracks; really nice. The door panels are cloth topped and very nice. Headliner is nice and tight. Only detraction is carpet has fade and a wear spot where the driver's left foot rested. I have nice oversized rubber mats on the floor and it's covered to prevent further wear. The rear facing seat looks like it was hardly used. It has the pull over cargo cover but I have never used it. Everything electric works: seat, indows, ocks, ntenna, ights, adio, assette player, ipers, ear wiper. One of the rear speakers crackles a bit when I first turn on the radio but goes away. The rear defroster takes a while to clear the rear window. The a/c works but there is some noise coming from the compressor. Here's what has less than 500 miles on it- 4 new Hankook white walls, lignment, enter link and idler arm(goes down the highway beautifully at 75mph), ew tie rod ends, ew front brakes including pads, otors and calipers, rake fluid, oolant flush and refill(runs nice and cool), il change. Had the tailgate mechanism greased inside so it works in both directions perfectly. If it sounds to you like I just had a bunch done, ou're right. Why sell it? Here's my story. My wife and I just just paid off our 2012 Jeep. We also own a Ford Expedition so I figured I don't need 2 4 wheel drives and the Jeep was worth more. So I wanted to get another Roadmaster Wagon. I went 100 to find this one. I really wanted one without wood siding and they were hard to find. But I found this one, t was clean body wise but I knew it would need to be gone over mechanically. So I shipped it down home, ook it to my mechanic who has serviced my cars for years. We looked it over and he made his recommendations. I did everything he suggested except replace the tailpipe(it's rusty), s I figured I would do it next year at inspection. I got this ready to drive 4 days a week and split time with my Expedition. I was ecstatic. I have a sound, ery clean looking wood delete Roadmaster, etting looks and thumbs up everywhere(usually from older guys like me, 5) and it runs like a dream. Problem? I have been driving trucks for the last 3 years and I and my wife cannot get comfortable in a car anymore. I took a 50 mile highway trip the other day(ran perfectly and smoothly) but I just could not wait to get back to my Expedition. It's official, have gotten old(er). I already sold the Jeep so now I have my eye on a Suburban to take the place of the Roadmaster(tear drop forming). I smile every time I look at it; it looks really clean for a classic aged car. But alas I am going to part with it. My wife and I are leaving for a long weekend to PA Dutch Country today and I had great plans to drive the wagon. But comfort for me has me taking the Expedition. I have way more in it than I am going to sell it for, know that. But sadly I won't use it and I won't let it rot in my garage, lus I need the cash from this to put into whatever truck I buy. By the way, his has the G80 code on the build sticker, hich I understand means posi rear. No hitch on it it and I don'r believe it was ever used for anything but pleasure. Ask questions. I have only had it a bit over a month and have only drive itt for 2 weeks. The mileage may chnge slightly, ut I listed it with higher mileage than it shows just in case I use it a bit. It has just over 90,000. I tried to be as specific as possible. It's not a new car but sometimes people expect it to be. It's very clean. I specifically showed the bottoms of the quarters and the jambs because they do rust, here is none here. I have the paper work for the mechanical work done. Thanks for looking! p.s. I did forget to mention a chip in the windshield about half the size of my little finger nail. At this price, homever buys this car is getting a great deal! My mechanic did a great job of replacing all the safety items so you could conceivably drive this across country without a problem. On Oct-18-15 at 13:25:22 PDT, eller added the following information:
