Description of 1964 Buick Other |
I am selling this classic custom built 1964 Buick Electra 225 rear end - channeled to a 1964 La Sabra front end. I believe the engine is a 401 cubic inch V-8. Power steering, ower brakes, ruise control, /C, speed automatic power glid, ositive track rear end transmission. RUNS good but needs lots of love and cleaning to be a wonderful one-of-a-kind show car. This classic custom was built and designed in the concept of a truck like an El Camino or Ranchero. Serious buyers can contact me for an appointment to view. Located in Susanville, alifornia. Buyer will have to make arrangements for pick-up. History: This vehicle has been stored in a garage for well over 20 years. Lots of dust but it only took a few hours to replace spark plugs, ires and clean carburator to start it up again. The original owner and builder was the owner of the local Buick distributorship. It has the original plates and hasn't been registered for many, any years. New owner will receive all of the paperwork I have, lus a copy of the bill of sale from the Estate sale. The original owner used it to deliver parts and equipment in Susanville. Some of the old timers still remember it cruising the streets of Susanville. All sales are final on this one. The automobile stands as is/ where is. The $250.00 deposit is non-refundable. Please ask for a physical pre-view if you have concerns. This is a project car. Thank you for your business and considering my auctions. On Oct-21-15 at 14:57:48 PDT, eller added the following information: I have received many emails for more pictures and information. I have added about a dozen more pictures. This is a one of a kind build. it was designed as a heavy duty truck concept. It was made not only to haul heavy equipment but for easy access for loading and unloading material. A roll bar was added to protect paint and bodywork. There is no air cleaner but he has added many extras like the electrical pulg under the hood for a drop light, tc.. I have added picture of the interior to show the wear. The door panel shows the dirt. It needs a head liner and the seat is cracked. like I stated before this is a project. With some cleaning and restoration and paint it will be a wonderful show car. it will turn heads and should demand over $20,000 after restoration. Only serious automobile workers should bid. The perk of this vehicle is that it already runs... |
