Description of 1964 Buick Riviera |
This 1964 Buick Riviera coupe is a un-restored, survivor' that is one fun car to drive. Optioned with the rare "Wildcat" 465 V8 with an automatic transmission, his classic Riviera is fast. This car runs and drives very well. It makes big power, ig torque - it shifts nice and rides great. The interior appears to have had it carpet replaced because it's new and fairly recent. The seats appear to be original, he headliner is original and has a tear - it will need to be replaced to make the interior nice. This car has a working AM radio, power drum brakes (new), ower steering, ir conditioning (original compressor comes on and works - no cold air, ikely still R12) styled steel Buick wheels with matching spare wheel - and, f course the Wildcat 465 The car has had what appears to be one repaint in 1994. It appears to be an original white with red interior car - there are minor bubbles here and there in the bottoms of the fenders for example, nd we can provide photos of any aspect you would like to see. The car is a driver, nd to be perfect - would need a full restoration. The engine appears to be VERY original down to the original Buick stamp on the AC compressor, nd it's original AC Delco voltage regulator. This is a car that still looks good, eeds some cosmetic improvements that are easy and fun to do that most people like to have fun with - yet, ou can drive it, ot worry about it and have fun in doing so. |
