Description of 1972 Buick Skylark |
1972 Buick Skylark Custom 2-door coupe 455 Engine / Automatic Transmission (Turbo 400) Factory Air Conditioning Option Stored for years. UNDER THE HOOD: 455 Engine, BBL Carburetor, actory AC. (New Battery, lugs, lug wires, ap, otor, tarter). INTERIOR: Original and Complete. Headliner is very nice. Dash Pad is cracked at driver side. Seats are white. Driver seat has tears and missing fabric. Shifter console is in very nice condition, ncluding compartment door. Steering wheel was replaced in the past with a Grant Steering Wheel. Original Floor mats. Cleaning would definitely brighten up the interior. EXTERIOR: The body on this car is uncommonly solid & almost rust-free, xcept for the typical areas which I have included photos of. There are a few dings as shown. Trunk is in incredible condition. The car was originally undercoated from the factory on the chassis, ender wells, tc. and this has really protected the vehicle allowing it to be in such great condition to this day. Another fact that has protected this car is that fact that it has spent it's life in the south; free of the corrosion of salt and sand. Glass: The front windshield has a crack traveling from lower left to mid passenger side. Paint on this vehicle has high gloss below the mid-line of the car, ith oxidation on the top half. A quick wax job actually removed lots of oxidation and provided a semi-shine. MECHANICAL: New ignition parts(Cap, otor, lugs, ires,) and new oil & filter. Under the valve cover the heads look clean and new. Rear differential is a 10 -- bolt factory unit. Dual exhaust. This car is located in Millington Tennessee, pprox 1 mile from the Military Base (United States Naval Support Activity) This is a running, riving car but hasn't been driven daily for approx 7-8 years. It has only been driven around the property. It is an awesome restoration project for someone to finish since it is complete and has wonderful potential. I would strongly encourage you or a representative to come and inspect the car before purchase so there are no questions left unanswered. Vehicle is sold as-is with no warranty expressed or implied. Transportation is the buyers responsibility. A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 is due within 48 hours of auction close balance to be paid within 7 days of auction close. Vehicle must be removed from my property within 30 days. I will accept as payment bank wire transfer or cash in person. All funds must clear before vehicle and title are released. I reserve the right to end the auction for a local sale. Information: ( 9 0 1 ) 2 5 8 - 4 8 2 0 or (8 6 5 ) 3 3 5 - 1 3 1 1 |
