Description of 1973 Buick Electra

A very solid. straight and clean car. but outwardly deteriorating. this is an excellent candidate for a restoration. The odometer shows 19. 30. but from appearances it is most probably 119. 30. It suffers from very noisy lifters. and will need some mechanical work to the engine. It will undoubted need to be towed or shipped. When it ran. prior to the lifter noise. it was very smooth and strong. The car drives very nicely. Spent a good deal of its life garaged. . no major rust issues. Very nice chrome. THM400 automatic transmission with 2. 73 final drive ratio got about 17mpg on the freeway. Has all the toys: Power windows. door locks. driver seat. steering. disc brakes. Has new tires. Root Beer Brown with Sandlewood vinyl top. Top of the line fabric interior - pleated. brocade. Sandlewood cloth inserts with vinyl around. Seat fabric has some tears and stains from age. but not in really bad condition. The dashboard/crashpad and interior door panels are in excellent condition. Extra parts included if wanted: Core engine (73 Buick 455). spare rear axle assembly from a 73 Estate Wagon and two spare front fenders. I have too many projects and this car deserves a nice home with an owner who appreciates it. I have clear title. This car is located south of Olympia. Washington near the town of Tenino. I am in Arizona. but travel back to my Tenino property periodically. I will do what I can arrange to make my visit coincide with your schedule.
