1928 Buick Model 190, ith a 114-1/2" wheel base, 2,087 of them were made and sold for $1,295.00 in 1928. Car is in good condition, eeds some TLC and a light restoration to be in 'show car' condition, as 10,500 miles, nd has been kept in humidity controlled garage since I bought it in July of 2010. It is a very solid car, as a little surface rust, nd is mechanically sound, ut does not currently start. I bought the car as a project, nd installed a new, ustom manufactured stainless steel fuel tank. I then had it running three years ago, t sat in the garage since, nd now I can't get it to start, ut I haven't spent any more time on it. I am 6' 4" and it is very uncomfortable for me to drive. Most of the die cast door and window handles have broken or are missing (all door interiors look similar to drivers door pictured), he 'heat' knob linkage is not connected, nd the ignition switch needs to be mounted properly. Otherwise, he interior, pholstery, ody, iring, nd engine are in good condition. Almost everything is original. I know the fuel tank, ires, nd a few wires have been replaced. In my opinion, he roof has been replaced, nd it has been repainted, ased only on the very good condition of both, ut I don't know for sure either way. I also have a box of random parts, n original newspaper ad from 1928 in very poor condition, nd a reprinted owner's manual in very good condition.
