Hello! Say good day to Irene. She is a 1962 Buick Special (base Skylark) pillar coupe. This car has been in dry southern California for all its sweet life. We bought it from the second owner 3 years ago. The last owner had the motor rebuilt (pics available) and then had it painted. We had the brakes rebuilt last year. The tires are 10 months old. So here is the thing. We have been using it as a daily and it gets a 25 mile drive every weekday without a complaint. It is getting around 25 miles to the gallon and is quite comfortable but starting this month we will not be using it as much as my Fairlane will be back on the road. Rather than let it get dusty we figured we would pass it on. It has just had the generator converted to an alternator so you dont have to worry about replacing some 500 dollar generator, ecent oil change, ust flushed the rad and the dash has been fully tidied and has had an LED upgrade done. I am sure I am forgetting some of the other good stuff. Now, hough all is very good it is a 50+ year old car.The backseat is flawless, eadliner perfect and the door cards are pretty good but the vinyl on the front seat is worn out. Plus the car came with mat instead of carpet so $120 should be spent on getting that right. Also one of the ball joints is going. Now I have many parts including the new ball joint but havent had time to replace. It will be included. Also, he radio needs replacing or retrofitting. It drives lovely and will do 70 on the freeway all the way to Los angeles and back without asking for gas. How do I know? Because it has already.I will be adding more photos this week. Feel free to ask questions. Shipping paid by buyer if needed. Can deliver within San Diego for the price of one coffee. Lastly, rades for an MG or Triumph spitfire/gt6 are a possible alternative. Cheers!
