Description of 1940 Buick Roadmaster |
1940 Buick Roadmaster 71c 4 door convertible. This car was 1 of 235 ever produced. 1 of only 13 known remaining. Car was professionally restored in 1988 (Frame off. sandblasted to bare metal and built with original parts) and has been garage stored and immaculately cared for since then. 9 out of 10 stars. It's still in near perfect condition. The interior is full red leather cowhide (by John Parkhurst) - absolutely beautiful. The top is tan cloth. there is one slight rub spot from when the top was down and a snap rubbed between the top and the cover. It's only barely a rub but bears mentioning. This car turns heads where ever it goes! Runs and drives great. no issues with the Straight 8 motor or drive train. Has accessory step sill plates. civil defense fog lamps with covers. center bumper horns in the back. wool carpeting front to back. and correct back window. Car is located in Everett. WA. more pictures upon request. please email any questions prior to bidding. |
