Description of 1993 Buick Roadmaster |
Up for auction is a 1993 Buick Roadmaster Sedan. It was a daily driver prior to being donated to the AACA Museum in 2015. The car has since been stored at our facility and not used so it is suggested that the car be gone over prior to putting it back into regular use. EXTERIOR: As I said the car was a daily driver so it has its share of bumps and bruises and also some rust. The paint is fair and has some spots on the trunk lid that the clear is starting to peel but for the most part the rest of the paint shines. INTERIOR: The seats are in good condition with no major rips or stains. The material on the headliner must have been sagging because it was removed and the foam cardboard is still left. The door panels and the carpet are in fair condition with a few minor stains and marks. The AC / heat seem to work as they should without any malfunctions. ENGINE & CHASSIS: The frame and undercarriage are in good shape with just some surface rust. The car runs good and starts up easily and the transmission shifts as it should. There is a new battery and a brake line under the drivers door was replaced as it was rusted through. The tires are in fair condition without any major defects. The previous owner stated that the original hubcaps kept coming off (common problem) so he replaced them with a set of older Pontiac hubcaps. If you would like to see the car in person arraignments can be made by calling the AACA Museum at 717-566-7100 between 9AM & 5 PM daily. Winning bidder MUST contact the seller within 24 hours of the end of auction. All proceeds go directly to the AACA Museum. |
