Description of 1975 Buick LeSabre |
For you consideration, and just in time for spring flings, summer ice cream cruses, and fall foliage drives to your favorite winery is this gorgeous 1975 Buick LeSabre Custom Convertible. The 75 LeSabre is the last of the big Buick convertibles. These cars have been undervalued for many years and still remain a big bargain, but they are going to go up in price. This 75 LeSabre convertible is a rare car with only 5300 example made. Most of these automobiles came with the standard 350 ci engines. My car has the 455 ci engine that was an option in 1975 which makes this example even rarer. If you are interested in acquiring one of these make sure you find one with the 455, you will be much happier. I have owned this LeSabre for 5 fun filled years. It only has 42,750 miles on its original numbers matching 455 motor. Last year I had the turbo 400 transmission rebuilt, also numbers matching. The car shifts perfect. The transmission is the biggest mechanical cost in owning an old car, but not for you! This LeSabre also has a large file of paperwork spanning 3 decades. This car has been well cared for it's entire life. This car has been owned by 4 people prior to me. The last three owners were all significant Buick club members, the last owner was the president of the Buick Club of America. The original owner was a women from Sacramento who is a lovely lady in her 70's who still misses this car to this day. All prior owners info will be provided to the new owner, along with it's extensive file, owners manual, and original Buick brochures from 1975. The car has one repaint to the original color which looks great when waxed, very nice driver quality paint with a few small blemished, nicks, and small chips. This car comes with the rare parade boot with custom made padded bags to store them in when not in use which is great. The parade boot makes this car look amazing, long and sleek. All original ox blood interior. Some minor sun fading on top of back seat but not bad. 40/60 bench front seat, driver seat is 6 way power. Power windows work but at times can be a bit sticky from the driver side, a readily available 4 toggle switch is all that is needed to remedy this minor issue. Power door locks, driver side power door lock motor has been professionally rebuilt but has not be reinstalled, but it comes with car and is ready to install. A/C blows cool, it will blow ice cold with a charge. I converted it to the modern currently readily available freon. Overall outstanding interior with minor imperfections. White top works fine and looks good. Needs nothing but if you want it perfect it could be helped with a little TLC. Another thing that I really like about this vehicle is that it has duel exhaust. The car sounds fantastic. It has a deep rumble but not obnoxious. New radio with cd player installed in the glove box that has an mp3 jack so you can play your songs from your phone as you roll down the road. Original radio works as does the power antenna. New speakers in carpeted boxes placed behind front seats, these are simply placed there, they are not attached to the car they can be remove in 1 minute, but they sound great and you can actually hear your music when the top is down. This car can be driven anywhere. 110% reliable, mechanically outstanding. This car has never seen the elements, always garaged. A car cover comes with the car. The car is kept at the famous City Museum in downtown Saint Louis in a climate control garage. All major highways going north, south, east, and west, are minutes away which makes shipping this car no problem. Don't be afraid to ship a car, it's not hard and my location in the midwest is so convenient, and I will be very helpful. You can also fly in and drive this car anywhere with out worry, and with gas so cheap why not treat yourself to a fun road trip in an American classic! Please feel free to ask me any questions. I'm friendly and a knowledgable classic car collector. I want to place this fine motor car in a good collection and I'm happy to work with any interested party to insure a fair deal with no surprises. My collection focuses on Buick's from 1965 -1975. Please don't buy this car if you don't like attention, this car gets noticed big time. Tons of thumps up, questions, comments, this car appeals to all ages of people. I'm a well known businessman in St. Louis and I have more expensive cars and I attend events with much more valuable cars, but this LeSabre gets a ton of love, as much as cars costing 5 to 10 times as much. This vehical is big and impressive. This is a real classic American automobile that is still affordable, and that will only increase in value over time. I have made a video that I will send to any interested party that contacts me with an email and serious interest, it shows the car and me talking about it. Also I included a photo in the listing of me in the car and I think my smile says it all! Superb driver, honest seller. YOUR SATIFACTION IS PARAMOUNT TO ME! THIS CAR IS REALLY GREAT WITH MINOR COSMETIC ISSUES THAT ARE EASY TO REMIDY, please see photos. If this car was in classic car dealership it would be priced at 17,500 -18,500 this car is a great deal at the buy it now price, if you win it for less you got a steal! 500.00 deposite via Paypal. Balance due via bank wire tranfsfer or certified money order check from U.S BANK. This car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end this listing at anytime.
