Description of 1965 Buick Riviera |
For your viewing pleasure I bring you my 1965 Buick Riviera completelyrestored to its former glory!I spent four years working on this car using all the original parts, having stainless buffed out and re-chroming all parts necessary. The glass all around is original and the interior was replaced with all leather from door panels and back panels to dash, rear shelf and headliner. The 401 nail headengine and transmission were rebuilt and has logged less than 600 miles since completed. The trunk was spatter painted and carpeted with a new tire, cover and jack installed. The tires are new and I had the original rims re-chromed and painted. The headlight motor is rebuilt by a professional company and the cars comes with a second rebuilt motor (each motor is worth about $500 or more each). All the bulbs are new throughout from headlights to taillights. The seats are done in the original custom design for 65 Riviera. The steering wheel is the wood type that are hard to find and the car comes with a second one. The antenna motor is rebuilt and works great but the radio needs some repairs. All hoses and some wiring is newand the alternator and air conditioning compressor is new with the dryer replaced and radiatorunder dash air and heater cores ported. The carburetor has been rebuilt but does tend to have a hard start when cold but runs great. The gas tank was removed cleanedpressure tested and painted. The exhaust system is all new with new resonators but I did not have the muffler installed to give this V8 a nice rumble sound. I have the muffler if the new owner would like to quite the vehicle. The car also has black and yellow license plates. This car is near perfect (99.9%) with very minor flaws but is a show stopperon the street. I have received so many compliments on the look of the car and sound of the pipes. There is much more to listand the car comes with thousands of dollars of extra parts from a second set of original rims to wiring harness and more, more, more. I reserve the right to sell outside this auction as the car will be listed in classic car magazines and internet sites. Thank you for your time! Imight be interested in a trade for a project car plus cash. The type of car I am looking to trade for would be a Cuda (70-74) or a Chevelle SS(1970) or Corvette? etc....Pleasecontact me with what your trade car would beand we can discuss.
