Description of 1957 Buick Other |
1957 Buick SpecialNo reserve auction - the highest bidder gets the carVIN: 4d1130083Attention to all Buick collector or to the classic car enthusiast. One rear and beautiful 57 Buick 2 door post with the rear triangle windows. The car is in beautiful driver condition. As far as I know was the car for a long. long time in a warehouse in New York before it was brought back on the street around 4-5 years ago. This could be the reason that the car is 99% rust free and still shines very nice. I am pretty sure the car was repainted once before 1969. Somebody back than did a really great job. The paint does have some minor scratches and nicks but it still looks beautiful. The body is super straight and I could not find any bondo areas in the entire body. An all sheet metal 57 Buick. The chrome needs some attention. The bumpers have some surface rust and the rest of the chrome pieces have some pitting. I would call the exterior a very nice driver condition. The color combination makes the car. The interior is completely original as far as I know and in great condition for being 57 years old. It is just clean and there is not really anything that needs to be restored. There is one crack on the panel before the rear window. Other than that it is just beautiful. The 364ci engine has a lot of power and the tranny shifts smooth. Brakes are ok. It is a pleasure to drive the car and for sure this one is a real head turner. The steering has some play and there is somewhere a hole in the exhaust system. I was crawling underneath the car and couldn't find any rust damage. It looks really good from down under. Floorboards. rockers. frame all looks straight and real solid. The trunk has some surface rust but here also; I could not find any rust holes/damage. Overall this car is a beautiful driver that needs some TLC like any old car. This car was not restored for $100k recently. I am in the classic car business for many years and in my opinion this is a real nice collector car. If you have the possibility please come over and take a look and test drive the car. Third party inspections are welcome. I do have the original rims and hub caps and they are included in the auction. There are some other spare parts in the trunk also. I was told that the current rims/wheels on the car are pretty valuable. I recently bought a small collection for my customer overseas. He already has exactly the same car and this is the reason the car is for no reserve auction. I have a clean open title. I will accept cash. bank wire or paypal (you would have to cover the paypal fees)If you need any assistance with national or international shipping please ask me for a quote. I do have more detailed photos of the car. Just send me a message and I will send them to you. For any other question please feel free to contact me by phone at 954-643-8380 or send me a message. Good luck bidding and I am pretty sure the winning bidder will not be disappointed with the car. |
