This auction is for a 1952 Buick Super " Woodie" or "Woody" Estate Wagon. I believe its a model 59. This vehicle is being sold to settle an estate. The car has been in fair inside storage for many years. It is in what I would call rough condition but seems to be very complete, maybe missing a few trim pieces and radio knobs. Some of the interior was torn up by critters but the interior roof wood and trim looks good. Most if not all of the exterior wood will need to be replaced. I've been told there are wood kits available but I don't know that for sure. The rocker areas and floor areas at your feet are rusted as you can see in the pictures but the rest of the body is in pretty good condition. The doors open and close. I'm not sure if the hood hinges are there or not, the hood is just sitting there now unattached. The straight eight engine and the engine compartment look complete. It has a couple of flat tires, but when aired up the car rolls easily, no locked up brakes. The trans shifted into neutral to move it. This "Woodie" would need a complete tear down and restoration, but given what these cars have been selling for lately, you might as well start with something that has great value when finished. The car is located in northwestern Illinois around Freeport. Call with any questions; Tom 1-815-238-3516 Thanks for looking! ($500.00 Paypal immediately due at auction close and win) Pick up only.
