I'm selling my 1966 Buick Electra 225 unfortunately. We're starting a business and need the extra funds right now. Just a little over 87k original miles with the original 425 Nailhead motor. The 425 is super rare in the sedans. It runs and drives great. It was a California car and is almost rust free. There's one little spot on the passenger door just starting to bubble up. And then a little at the bottom of the doors on the inside. Paint is original with some dings and chips and scuffs but the body is extremely solid. Floors and trunk pans are solid as well as the frame. Many new parts. Brand new vinyl top. Originally a non vinyl top car. Previous owner thought it looked more luxurious with it so he added it. He did show me pictures before the top was put on and there was no rust but I never got the pictures from him to pass forward. Brand new radiator, Rochester 4 barrel carb, battery, master cylinder, distributor cap, rear shocks, air compressor to operate shocks from inside the car, exhaust, tires, fresh tune up. I'm sure I'm forgetting something. If I think of more I'll add it. The only problems with the car are minor. Factory radio needs a capaciter to work, bumpers need rechromed, power seat dooesn't work, gets power to them so not sure what's wrong. Gas gauge needs adjusted, It works it just reads wrong, 1/2 a tank is empty but a full tank the needle stays pegged for half the tank. All minor things and if I had the time to fix them I would to make it worth more but just haven't had time. I will try to look at a few things before the end of the auction but no guarentees. I know the gas gauge is a quick simple fix from what I've been told. All minor things and I'm nitpicking but don't want any surprises. 2 original service manuals that come with and original manual and aluminum owners tag for the original owner. Oh and the front seat is torn in a few spots but I have a roll of matching gem upholstery to get it fixed. Great car and lots of fun. Gets thumbs up almost every time we've taken it out.
