Description of 1967 Buick Gran Sport Gran Sport

1967 Gran Sport 400

White with black vinyl top, black bench seat interior. Original interior, one repaint about 12 years ago. This car is very clean, not perfect. An excellent car to buy and enjoy immediately while sprucing it up, or just drive as is. There is no rust on this car, body or frame! Very clean underneath.

Options:

Automatic, A/C, Power Steering, Brakes and Windows. AM Radio, Posi Rear, Tinted Windows.

Transmission was rebuilt about 10 years ago with a shift kit. It shifts quickly and well. Engine and Trans are original to car.

What I repaired immediately. New Vinyl Top as the original had wear. New Windshield Wiper Motor and Washer Pump.

What it needs:

2 small exhaust leaks, but I am running it as it is for now. The Carburetor needs rebuilding as there is hesitation when stomping on it. The car starts up quickly after sitting for a few weeks. The right rear power window switch needs to be replaced. Window goes up and down at the drivers switch. Right windshield washer arm missing the spring, needs a new arm. The front windshield leaks a bit of water, and I will hopefully fix this in a couple of weeks by pulling the windshield and re-sealing it. The front grill has a crack and the headlight bezels are painted black. Rear chrome trim across the trunk is painted black

The Story:

Got this from a 93 year old widow here in town, I bought it from her as she wanted to part with it quickly as it was her husband’s baby. She finally came to terms to part with it. She was extremely sad to part with it, but she wanted it to go so she would not continue renting her neighbor’s garage, and she did not want the rent payment any longer. Was her husband’s car since 1968. She really wants it to go to a good Buick home. He passed away about 5 years ago. Been in garage since. Garage kept the majority of its life. The wife and daughter would start it and exercise it about once a month.

Car is for sale as is with no warranty. Listed locally, so reserve the right to remove if sold. Cash or certified bank check. Car and title will not be released until funds have cleared.
