Vintage Motorcars is pleased to present this 1971 Buick GS. This totally matching numbers 1971 Buick GS is equipped with a Ram Air 350 c.i. engine and Turbo 350 transmission. The engine was completely rebuilt at around 75,000 miles, so only has about 16,000 miles on it since. Enough to make you feel very comfortable that the rebuild was done right, and won’t let you down! The engine starts up immediately, does not smoke, and pulls like a locomotive! The transmission was completely overhauled less than 400 miles ago, and shifts perfectly. This car spent its entire life in Pensacola where it was used as a daily driver practically right up until the restoration, which took about 2 years. The restoration was professional, and proper time was taken to ensure this classic GS was done right! During that time; the interior was completely redone using OEM parts, and finished in the correct Sandalwood color. The seat upholstery, seat foam, carpet, headliner and sun visors were all replaced. The interior looks and feels like a new car. The exterior of the car was professionally re-painted in the correct color of Cortez Gold. There aren’t any visible cracks, scratches or dents anywhere in this laser-straight body. This classic Buick is ALL STEEL with no filler or bondo. During the restoration; the trunk pans and floor pans were replaced correctly with OEM parts. Some of the other items that were replaced during the restoration were springs, shocks, tires, exhaust system, windshield, re-chromed front & rear bumpers and much more. This is a “turn-key” classic that is ready to cruise or show!
