1968 Buick Electra 225. This vehicle was bought new in Lubbock Tx by a local lady and driven by her until 2001. At the point she could no longer drive she gave the vehicle to my father-in-law. He parked the vehicle and only drove it occasionally. As far as I know. it is 100% original. The body is very straight with exception of dent in front left side fender (see photo). All rust on the car is light surface rust that can be removed with a light rubbing compound. paint is original and thin and faded in most places. There is no rust thru anywhere on the car or underneath the car. All of the chrome and stainless is in great shape and will polish easily the only exception is a slight flaking around a bolt hole in the front bumper (size of a quarter) and a dent in the rocker panel moulding on passenger side (see photo). All glass is in great shape as is trunk and trunk liner. Interior/seats/dash/headliner/door panels are all in great shape (one cigarette burn on driver's side bottom cushion). Car has P/S A/C P/B and AM radio. Car starts and runs down the road beautifully. suspension and steering seem good and tight. ride is very smooth. The brakes stop fine but pull to the left. it appears the right side front wheel cylinder is leaking (haven't removed wheel to check but seems like fluid is running down inside of drum). All things said. a very clean low mile original car. an easy repaint and you could have a show stopper or leave it and enjoy the patina. Only thing mechanically to worry about is wheel cylinder. this car drives great! 430 engine. automatic transmission. Tires have less than 1000 miles on them. Title is good and clear. Ready to enjoy. if you are local feel free to come look and test drive. we are located 30 miles east of Lubbock Tx.
