1968 RIVIERA FOR SALE

I am selling this original, one owner 30,000 mile survivor (barn-find) 1968 Riviera. It was bought in and spent its whole life in Sacremento, CA. It is mostly rust free. The body has minimal rust. & the frame is 100% solid.

The car has been off the road since 1980. I have pictured the original owner’s title and last registration. I bought it from him about 2 years ago with the intention of restoring it, but health issues force me to sell the car now.

The engine turns over freely, but I have not had time to get it running.

I have collected a number of NOS parts for it, which go with the car. I also have a spare console with finished wood veneers that also go with the car. Some of the veneers seem warmed, but will be lye flat once cemented. An NOS set of Gabriel rear shocks also go with the auction.

The stainless moldings are in excellent shape.

All 1968 Rivieras came with power brakes, power steering and tilt steering wheel.

I replaced the original steering wheel with a nearly perfect one. It will be redyed to original color. It has no cracks in it. The seats covers and dash-pad are hard and need to be replaced. I have a perfect dash-pad that goes with the car.

I removed the gas tank, stripped it of all undercoating and clear-coated it. Its now back in the car.

The body has very little rust. There is surface rust on the hood and roof. The rear deck lid should be replaced. There is minor rust on the inside of the windshield- inside lower corners.The headliner is torn and there appears to be some rust on the roof under the headliner.

This is a non-running project car and will have to be picked up in Tallahassee, FL.

There are no warranties that go with the car.

It can be stored at my mechanic’s shop for up to 2 months before pick up.
