Description of 1957 Buick Roadmaster 75

I have for sale here a very nice 1957 Buick Roadmaster 75. The 75 Series was the fanciest '57 Buick (Code 4737SX 75R) and very rare with only 2402 75 Riviera coupes made. The car does run and drive well. It has a good running 364 V-8 with power steering and power brakes. As you can see in the photos, the body is excellent. The Shell Beige over Garnett Red paint is very nice and very nice chrome also. The rear bumper end inserts have some pitting. The stainless all around the car is very good also. All glass is nice. The wide whites are in fine shape, as are the correct '57 Buick hubcaps. The body is very smooth and looks very straight as you look down the long sides. Hood, top, and trunk are smooth also. The underside is very solid also. There is a well done floor fix done to the rear floor pan. The balance of the underside looks very original and very solid. The car feels smooth and solid while driving. The trans shifts nicely and the shocks, tires, and comfortable seats provide a very good ride. The hood, trunk, and doors open and shut well. All power windows work.Power seat moves slowly, but does move. This car does have an A/C dash, in very nice shape by the way, and plumbing for A/C, but the compressor and condenser are unfortunately missing. These can be found and installed however. Speaking of the interior, this interior is very nice! The seats are quite comfortable and look to be very nearly correct in color, material and design. Very nice door panels and headliner also. Decent carpet. Dome lights are working. Horn works. Wipers work. Heat and defrost controls move hard and will have to be attended to. The cool ribbon-type speedometer works. All of the gauges appear to be functioning. Radio works and sounds good. All lights and turn signals operate as well as high beams. The turn signal lever does work but is slightly loose. The dash pad and upper door pads are very good. The doors do lock. Good and recent battery. I would tend to think that the 50,100 miles on the odometer are correct, given the super condition of the car. This very cool and very rare 50's GM cruiser looks very impressive touring around town. Go to the drive-in in style in your 1957 Buick Roadmaster 75 and get those waves, looks, and onlookers pointing at you. As you can see in the photos, the body, paint, chrome, and interior are very nice! Feel free to ask questions. Inspection available. Sold in as-is condition.
