Up for bid is a 1994 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon with 61k southern Virginia miles. Clean Carfax, which shows 2 owners, but paperwork when sold new shows husband and wife, and current title is in wife's name only, so not really. No body rust, decent paint, and nice undercarriage. Loaded up with power everything. Boasting GM's Corvette inspired multiport injected 5.7L LT1 V8 engine and 4L60E 4 speed automatic transmission, she puts down plenty of power. Heavy duty cooling with 2.56 open rear end (GM8 & V03 build codes). Delivers consistent 16 in town and 24 highway at 70 mph. Condition Report
ENGINE: Runs on all eight cylinders without smoking, missing or knocking. Engine runs at proper temperature. New fuel pump. Newer battery & good charging system. Starts easy and runs strong.
TRANSMISSION: Performs beautifully. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. Clean fluid with no burn odors.
EXTERIOR: Body: Body is in very nice shape with two small dings on the hood. Very straight otherwise. No body rust. Above average body. Paint: Paint is decent and all original with no repaint and looks great from ten feet, but up close, shows some age. Slight fade on bumpers and hood as seen in pics, and an inexplicable spot above left cargo window (strange place to have a faded spot) and a few spots on the roof that look like acid rain spots. A few minor scratches on hood and bumpers. Still pretty nice for 23 years old. Wood: Upper wood trim was removed, painted tan and reinstalled so it won't peel like most do at this age. The side panel fake wood is in good shape with a few small chips/nicks on the left rear door as pictured. Otherwise, nice and above average - still shiny and clear with no sun fading. Other: Lower stainless bright trim is very nice with no notable dings - even front bumper trim is nice. Rubber side trim is all there. Glass is all good. Undercarriage is extremely nice with only minor surface rust - see the pics - nice as you'd expect of a southern car. Underhood sheet metal, tailgate sill and door jambs have no rust as seen in pics. Aluminum wheels are in good shape with some wheel weight marks.
INTERIOR: Interior of the car is in superb shape consistent with low miles. Dash has no cracks and is smooth and not warped, leather seating areas are in great shape and leather is still soft - seats have zero dye wear - and cargo deck carpet in good shape with one minor stain. Headliner is nice. Steering wheel is in nice shape - dye not worn and grain still visible. Carpet is in very nice shape with none of that typical wear near the outboard driver's feet. All four original floormats. ON OFF RES lettering still clearly visible on multifunction stalk. No smoke or pet odors. Full size spare in back with brand new tire. Nice interior overall.
ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work (lights, horn, wipers, etc.) All power options work reliably, including power windows, power locks, dual power 6 way seats, hot heat and cold A/C, tilt, cruise, am/fm stereo cassette, rear window release, rear wiper, keyless entry, twilight sentinel, intermittent wipers, and rear defroster.
DRIVEABILITY: Drives out nicely. Steering is tight, alignment is good, suspension is tight. Brakes work well with good linings. Solid, quiet exhaust with no leaks. Check engine light is not lit (except at start up as it should.) Tires have great tread but are older and should be replaced soon but I am confident they'd make a cross country trip. I'm happy to get it to a local tire store to have your preferred new tires installed at your expense if you'd prefer them installed prior to pickup. No complaints - drive anywhere.

Will meet you or your transporter at my location by appointment after 6 pm weekdays or anytime weekends. No administrative fee on this auction.
