One family owned since new. driven from 1928 to 1958 and then restored with sincere effort to raise and measure its value of one of the greatest Buicks ever built. 2001 began with the restoration process. Over $70000 spent on total frame off. motor & trans professional rebuild. Flawless paint and excellent new interior in original Mohair. Charm of line. proportion and color that makes this Buick a creation of beauty and crowns the mechanical perfection of the Series 115. The year of the overhead valve-in-head. counterbalanced crankshaft. torsion balancer on crankshaft cheek. reduced cast iron piston weight. rubber engine mounts. and crankcase ventilation. Base price when new was $1375. 00 and weighed in at 3305 lbs. and is powered by 207 ci straight six that is vibration-less beyond belief with wonderful performance. Unapproachable value in a classic or collector car. Frame off starting with sandblasting frame in 12/24/2003. Block sand hood-panels. 4 doors. nbsp;pontoon fenders. rear fenders. running boards. cowl and glass area. all metal painted parts. first in 320. then 400. then 600. 1500 then 2000 grit. Rebuild all window regulators. rebuild entire dash and install new wood and matching screws. rebuilt numbers matching engine. gearbox. and Carburetor.
